Hi,

I'm thinking of getting one of the new M1 macbooks. Are there any issues running SooperLooper on the new M1 macs?

Thanks Jessie. I'm assuming all will be fine with Rosetta right?

Hey Jessie,

I bit the bullet and bought an M1. I cant run sooperlooper on it, so i was hoping I could run it via Rosetta, but it looks like thats not an option. Do you have some suggestions on work arounds or am I sunk till an M1 build comes out?

Thanks! I use your software in my live setup and love it!

Greg

Just chiming in here to resurrect this thread and express my concern about M1 Mac functionality. I've been using Sooperlooper for years and it's essential for my live setup. So grateful to have had the use of this amazing software for so long, and I hope it makes the transition to the new generation of Macs! Has anyone found a workaround?

Hi, Jesse, first I want to thank you again for sooperlooper! Using it for years, acoustic live performance (AU time independent live loops without time sync to DAW).
As a loyal/happy user, I'm also want to ask about possibility for an update for a new M1 and M2 Macs.
Hope this important project of the best looper ever will continue 🙏
