missing liblo0 while building on karmic

Hi! I'm new to this forum. Found this wonderful software in Ubuntu-Studio, based on Karmic Koala. Not the latest version, I realized while testing. There are lots of good features in the new versions, so I have to update
Now I need help building the software: Tried to build the software, following the instructions. The liblo0-packet is missing and is not available in karmic. Only the liblo0dbl is found. I never built anything, though I tried . I have no idea, how to fix this.

P.S.: After checkmarking all other packetsources (unchecked by default in Ubuntustudio) and updating there is liblo0-dev available. Does this help?

Yes, that -dev package sounds like what you need.

Thanks for your answer. I tried this and lot of other things, but didn't manage to build sooperlooper. Did anybody manage to build and install on Karmic or even on a karmic-based Ubuntustudio??
