“Stuck” buttons…

Post by Evi1M4chine »

Hello,

I tried SL the first time today, and there’s a really weird annoying thing going on with the GUI:

Let’s say I recorded something, then did an overdub, but wanted to undo it. So I click the undo button.
Now no matter where I click… even in the menu… it always acts as if the undo button is clicked. Complete with highlighting it and undoing things.
The same thing happens with e.g. the redo or 2X button too.

Right clicking somewhere, then clicking somewhere else to cancel the context menu, make it possible to do a normal click again. But only once. Then it’s back to the buggy behavior, until I right-click again.

This makes it impossible, to use the GUI. So maybe we can just display the keyboard keys next to the UI buttons, and disable mouse clicking entirely. ;)

This is Gentoo Linux, and the SL 1.6.14 ebuild, using the following package dependencies:
  • media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-1.9.7
  • x11-libs/wxGTK-2.8.12.0
  • media-libs/liblo-0.26
  • dev-libs/libsigc++-1.2.7
  • media-libs/libsndfile-1.0.24
  • media-libs/libsamplerate-0.1.7
  • dev-libs/libxml2-2.7.8
  • media-libs/rubberband-1.5.0
  • sci-libs/fftw-3.2.2-r1
