Help getting Sync and Play Scnc to work in Mainstage

So, im running SL as an AU in Mainstage, and it seems to work fine apart fromt he fact that the Sync and PLay Sync dont work. When i run SL seperately and connect it to Mainstage using Jackaudio, the sync and Play Sync work fine, but not when im using it as an AU.

I really want to use it as an AU tho so that i can use Logic fx both before and after SL, however not being able to Sync or Play Sync is a real pain.

Anyone else have this problem? any suggestions on how to get them to work?
